ABOUT TENSIRA
Tensira was founded in 2009 following the meeting of Hamidou Diallo of Guinean descent and Tuulia Makinen Diallo, a native of Finland. Hamidou grew up in a creative environment thanks to his mum who was an indigo dyeing artist for more than 40 years. She was his first inspiration when founding Tensira.
Tensira has been dedicated to the design and creation of home textiles and fashion accessories made from the highest quality OEKO-TEX certified cotton sourced from West Africa, emphasising sustainable luxury.
All fabrics are 100% cotton, hand-dyed in the workshops of Tensira in the Republic of Guinea and the aIndigos are dyed using natural indigo dyes.
